Bicycle Tours
Makin' Macon Fit is held each September in Lafayette (Macon County: Area 6). There are a 5K race, a 1-mile race and a Kid's Fun Run. Part of the activities include a 100, 66, 34 and 10 mile bike tour. For more information, please visit:
Bicycle Routes Marked Bicycle Routes without Mileage Numbers on the Signs The vast majority (99%+) of TN 52 in Sumner County (Area 1, Area 3, and Area 4), and Macon County (Area 5 and Area 7) is marked as a bicycle route.
Marked Bicycle Routes with Mileage Numbers on the Signs The State of Tennessee has approximately 37 bicycle routes within the state. All of the routes share normal state, federal and county highways. They are, however, marked with special signs for bicyclists, and maps are provided. There are five routes which run from Falls Creek Falls State Park to Standing Stone State Park in C11 Overton County. Just click on the link below to see the maps.
